What are some of the ingredients to look for?

If you are serious about using a good male sexual enhancement formula to boost your sex drive, increase your stamina or improve your erectile quality, then you want to make note of some of the leading ingredients on the market. There are too many products that claim to do this and that but do not really contain the right combination of ingredients to achieve the desired result. There are a handful of ingredients that stand out.

For instance, Yohimbe is great because it has been used for ages in certain regions of Africa to increase blood flow to the penis, which is important for achieving a stronger, longer-lasting erection. You also want to see Tribulus Terrestris, which has been shown to increase testosterone levels. A product called Vaso Prophin is marketed as an effective formula for men, but I don't see any of these ingredients, nor do I see other leading male sexual enhancers.

What if you need customer service and it's not available?

Among the many reasons I don't like to buy my male sexual enhancement products from retailers is the headaches of going through a middle man in the transaction. After you make the purchase, the retailer probably wouldn't care about whether you are enjoying the product and how you feel in general about the experience. If you wanted some issues addressed, you might have a hard time dealing with customer service.

That's why good customer service ranks highly on my list of requirements for male sexual enhancement products. A product called Vicerex may be advertised as one of the more powerful male sexual enhancers on the market, but I'm not that impressed with the formula, which includes Ginkgo Biloba and Eurcyoma Longifolia. But I am most disappointed with reports that indicate that the company is very difficult to reach for customer service, and largely unhelpful when you do get through to them.

Swing by the better Web sites for sexual enhancers

You can continue purchasing your supplements at the local drugstore or pharmacy, but why deal with the long lines, poor customer service, the risk of a product being out of stock and other headaches? You can go directly through parent companies and manufacturers these days, especially with some of the more reputable male sexual enhancement products. Doing this can make your life a whole lot easier for many reasons.

VigRX Plus is a male sexual enhancement supplement that has been well-regarded ever since it hit the market. That seems to be because it contains such ingredients as Damiana, Tribulus Terrestris, Catuaba Bark Extract and Epimedium, among others. Together, these ingredients have been shown to boost sex drive, increase stamina and enhance erectile quality. The great thing is that you can log on to the official Web site to learn more -- through consumer testimonials and references to clinical studies, etc.

Asian ingredients are not always the answer

There are many great natural herbs and ingredients that come from different regions of Asia, including ingredients for male sexual enhancement. You also see products such as Green Tea, which is one of the more popular beverages in the U.S., especially for those looking for a healthier alternative to Coffee. But are all traditionally used Asian ingredients as powerful as they are believed to be in certain circles, or are there better options?

A supplement known as Vim-25 is marketed as a potent male sexual aid for those looking to boost their sex drive and increase their sexual energy levels. The product may contain ingredients like Lycium Fruit, Radix Root, Poria and Tienchi Ginseng. All of these have been touted by proponents of traditional Asian medicine, but I don't really see any proven male sexual enhancer here. I am disappointed also because Panax Ginseng, also known as Korean Ginseng, is not included.

What are some of the side effects out there?

Few people enjoy using prescription drugs for whatever reason, probably because of all the associated side effects. While you certainly cannot avoid using some medications when a serious health issue arises and your doctor prescribes it to you, if you want to improve your sexual performance you may not need to resort to this. There are more and more potent, all-natural formulas out there that are formulated to help in many different ways.

But beware of the products that contain natural ingredients but also include components that may cause side effects. Eurycoma Longifolia, also known as Tongkat Ali, is one such sneaky ingredient. It can be found in all kinds of supplements, including Virility XL, which also includes Panax Ginseng and other well-regarded sexual enhancers like Yohimbe. However, because it contains Eurycoma Longifolia, which has been linked to prostate issues, I might avoid using it.

Don't forget about meeting her needs

Many men look for male sexual enhancement supplements to increase their sex drive, boost their stamina or achieve stronger, longer-lasting erections. These are common needs for men, especially as they age and their sexual prowess begins to ebb. But while there are certainly many different ways to go about meeting our sexual enhancement needs, many of us forget that the reason we are looking to boost our performance is to make the experience enjoyable for both your partner and yourself.

For those who wish to enhance women's sexual responsiveness and enable their partners to achieve multiple orgasms, among other benefits, a product called Orexia may be a viable option. According to numerous accounts and reports, this product may increase women's natural lubrication while boosting orgasmic strength and frequency. The formula includes such notable ingredients as Peppermint Oil and Sweet Almond Oil, in addition to other proven natural extracts.

One-a-week pills for sexual enhancement

If you don't like to take supplements, then you may have a problem with products that ask you to take pills several times per day. After all, we all lead busy lives, and we may not have the time or the patience to deal with the regimen. That's why many companies seem to have one-a-week pills on the market that claim to be as effective as the daily alternatives. It remains to be seen if these products are indeed as effective as they say they are, however.

Parcman is one such product that claims to boost sex drive and enhance men's overall sexual performance, even though the product is meant to be taken just once per week. The company says the formula contains natural ingredients, but I don't see a list of ingredients posted online anywhere, which is not a good sign. Also, I am not aware of any official studies that corroborate the company's assertion that we can sustain our sex drive and enhanced performance by taking this pill once a week.

Using the correct products for your needs

While most men generally begin to experience diminished sexual health and performance as they age, we all have different needs. Some of us may be suffering from erectile dysfunction, which may need prescriptive support, though not in all cases. Others may simply need to use an herbal formula to boost sex drive, enhance stamina or promote firmer, longer-lasting erections. Whatever the case, it is important to make sure we are choosing the right method.

A product called Pheroline is marketed as one of the best male sexual enhancement products available today, even though it doesn't really seem to be a sexual enhancement formula; it is basically a pheromone spray. As many of us know, pheromones are supposedly detectable by women, even though it doesn't actually have a scent. According to proponents, this can cause women to become attracted to us. It's important to note, however, that this hasn't been proven to work, and it will not help with poor sexual performance.

Nutritional formulas are good, but for male sexual enhancement?

There are many things that factor into men's sexual health and wellness, including age and dietary habits. It is clear that as we age, most of us will begin to experience diminished sex drive and weaker erections. However, while our diets may have an impact on our overall health and wellness, I'm not sure that taking multivitamins and multiminerals will solve all of our performance problems. There are many supplements that seem to think otherwise.

For instance, Proxeed Plus is a supplement that is supposed to be based on nutrients such as Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, Vitamin C, Zinc, and Selenium. The product also contains L-Carnitine, Fructose and Citric Acid, according to the company, but none of these have been shown to be superior male sexual enhancers. I would much rather see a formula based on ingredients like Yohimbe, Damiana, Tribulus Terrestris and Panax Ginseng, among others -- these have been shown in studies to boost male sexual performance.

Getting the facts straight before buying sexual enhancers

There is so much information out there for those who want to learn what works and what doesn't, as far as male sexual enhancement products are concerned. You can browse the Web to track down the most well-regarded sexual enhancement supplements, for instance, through testimonials, clinical studies and other information commonly found online. But before you jump the gun, make sure that you check out what the ingredients included in each product might be.

Sexciter is a supplement that is supposed to be based on natural ingredients, and the company says it will make "men horny." This is nice to know, considering many men suffer from low sex drive, especially as they age. Unfortunately, I don't see a list of ingredients anywhere online, no matter how hard I look or where I look. This is a common problem for male sexual enhancement supplements these days -- companies seem unwilling to disclose the full list of ingredients.

Make sure the product has been proven to work

Don't underestimate the importance of a male sexual enhancement product that has been proven in clinical studies to work -- and to be safe. I think too many men are caught up in what the advertisements are saying, as opposed to looking at the concrete evidence. It also helps to check out the consumer testimonials online, though not all products will be backed by as many testimonials as you might like. You can also look into reviews and blogs for more information.

A supplement known as Halodrol is apparently based on ingredients such as Halomethetioallocholan, which is not really considered a well-regarded male sexual enhancer. In fact, the formula as a whole seems to contain complex ingredients with funny names that have not been proven in studies to work -- or to be safe to use. Also worrisome is the fact that the aforementioned ingredient is believed to lower male sex drive, which is not what you want.

Viagra and the many second comings

Most men are familiar with the prescription male sexual enhance called Viagra, also known as the little blue pill. It has been around for a long time in the male consumer market, often advertised as one of the best pharmaceutical-grade options for treating erectile problems. It perhaps has one of the stronger presences in pop culture as well. But recently, there have been many alternatives to this drug, as well as those that are marketed as superior versions of the original.

A medication called Kamagra, for instance, is supposed to contain Sildenafil Citrate, which is the active ingredient in Viagra and the rest of the prescription drugs in this class. This ingredient is supposed to work by enlarging the vessels around the penis, which could boost penile blood flow. Of course, there are side effects to watch out for, especially for men suffering from cardiovascular problems, and you also have to be aroused to begin with for it to work.

Look for fast-acting formulas that also last long

If you are looking into buying a male sexual enhancement supplement, then you probably want to experience fast results. I mean, who really wants to sit around for hours for a formula to become active, especially when your partner is waiting for you to come around? While this is true, I also believe a good male sexual enhancer should be formulated to address long-term issues -- that is, it should be long-lasting as well as fast-acting.

A product called Libitrol is advertised as a potent all-around male sexual enhancer, with ingredients like Panax Ginseng, L-Alanine, L-Lysine, Da Zao Fruit, Yohimbe Bark Extract and Saw Palmetto, among other herbal extracts. I like the inclusion of Panax Ginseng and Yohimbe Bark Extract, as these have been shown in studies to be potent yet safe. But the overall formula seems rather dull, especially for those looking for fast results and long-lasting effects.

It has more questions than answers

Even if you consider yourself an adventurous spirit, you should set limitations on the types of male sexual enhancement products you are using on a regular basis. I suppose if you want to experiment with what's out there, I couldn't stop you. But just be aware of the fact that there are many products on the market that contain questionable ingredients, many of which could cause a number of side effects and other adverse reactions.

A supplement known as Max Load, by a company called MD Science Lab, is advertised as containing numerous natural ingredients. These may include L-Arginine, Horny Goat Weed, Eurycoma Longifolia, Flower Pollen Extract, Pine Bark and Maca Root Extract. I think the only ingredient worth checking out really is Horny Goat Weed, otherwise known as Epimedium; this ingredient is regarded as a potent aphrodisiac. However, L-Arginine and Eurycoma Longifolia may cause side effects, such as high body temperature and insomnia.

Is topical delivery better than oral supplementation?

What do you make of all the topical male sexual enhancement products on the market today? There are hundreds of them in my estimation, and I'm overwhelmed by the decision-making process. But I've always heard that, while topical products may be useful to a certain degree, oral supplements have long been used to address low sex drive, stamina issues and even poor erectile quality. So, where does that leave oral supplements?

According to many a Maxoderm review, this topical formula contains several notable herbal sexual enhancers, such as Catuaba Bark Extract, Panax Ginseng and Muira Puama, all of which have been shown to address male sexual performance issues. The product also contains numerous nutrients and other natural ingredients, but it's worth pointing out that most of these substances are regarded more for their effectiveness when taken orally.

Is there any shame in taking supplements?

I feel that as our lives get more and more fast-paced, there are increasing pressures put on our lives to keep up. Many of us simply do not have time to eat right, exercise, focus on our careers, take care of our families and whatever else life throws our way. That's why many men take some natural supplements to help ensure that they are on top of their game, with respect to focus, mental alertness, energy and, yes, even sexual performance.

It used to be that only men with some kind of problem would seek out prescription drugs and supplements, but today even younger men are looking to natural supplements to boost sex drive, increase stamina and promote stronger erections. There are supplements like VPXL, which is advertised as a superior formula, with ingredients like Tribulus Terrestris and Valerian Root. However, I would much rather go with proven supplements that contain more well-regarded ingredients, such as Yohimbe, Damiana, Catuaba and Epimedium -- in addition to Tribulus Terrestris.

Obstructed blood flow could be your problem

There are many things that factor into our overall sexual health, but as we age there are likely to be more complications and uncertainties. That's why many men take natural supplements to boost their performance and keep their sexual health fine-tuned. Sure, you could check out the many pharmaceutical-grade drugs for male sexual enhancement, but you may not need to resort to such drastic measures -- drugs can cause undesirable side effects anyway.

You can swing by Web sites such as www Enzyte com to learn about what over-the-counter sexual enhancers have to offer. This particular product seems to contain a number of promising ingredients, including Panax Ginseng, Tribulus Terrestris, Muira Puama and Epimedium. These ingredients have been shown to help with low sex drive and even boost stamina. However, I am disappointed to find Yohimbe missing; this ingredient is superior to the L-Arginine included here, according to numerous reports.

The shady sexual enhancers you see in stores

There are many different tiers of male sexual enhancement products, in terms of overall quality. You will see the high-end products marketed towards well-heeled consumers and which will cost upwards of $100 per bottle. Then you might find what is considered the middle-market of sexual enhancers, which is comprised of the vast majority of the products on the market today. And finally, you see the bargain products that can be purchased for low prices at bodegas and other local outlets.

Weekend Prince is an example of one of the lower-end products marketed towards men who are looking for support for one-night stands. The product is sold in individual packets, which could be convenient, but also seems a bit sleazy. The formula includes a number of well-known sexual enhancers like Panax Ginseng and Tribulus Terrestris, but seems overall to be rather pedestrian. And it is my feeling that any product that is advertised as a bargain will not show the most promise.

Does anyone believe in penis enlargement anymore?

Just when you thought the penis enlargement craze has rolled over, you see a series of newer products that claim to do just that -- increase penis length and girth. I suppose you can't blame men for checking out such products, considering many men may be dissatisfied with their natural penis size. But the more sensible men realize that there are other ways to increase sexual performance and health through all-natural supplementation.

For instance, you could boost your sex drive, increase stamina and enhance the amount of blood flowing to your penis (this determines how strong and firm your erections will be). And yet, there are supplements that continue to drive home the message that we could increase our penis size, such as the supplement at www Extenze com. This supplement includes natural ingredients, which is great, but none of these have been proven to even remotely affect penis size.

Does the formula live up to the hype?

I'm human just like everyone else, so I tend to be responsive to products that are well-marketed and accompanied by memorable advertisements. But after years of exploring the male sexual enhancement products market, I can safely say that I have learned to shield myself from products that are all hype and no substance. You can tell which products are not worth a second look -- just check out the ingredients and make sure only high-end extracts are included.

ZenerX is a supplement that claims to provide "total satisfaction for you and her" and other ambiguous benefits. The formula includes such ingredients as Mucuna Pruriens, Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium) and Gingko Biloba, among other natural ingredients. I like the inclusion of Epimedium for its properties as an aphrodisiac, but I'm not convinced about the other extracts. Where are the leading ingredients for erectile support, such as Yohimbe Bark Extract?
